How Can We Assist?
RECENTLY SINGLE, IS THIS RIGHT FOR ME?
Many of our guests attend for the first time. It can be "nerve rattling". We strive to host gatherings that are warm and friendly. We provide guidance and encourage introductions. to put everyone at ease.
IS THIS A MATCH MAKING GROUP?
No we are not a match making or dating group. We encourage social interaction at the events and encourage connections without pressure.
WHAT ARE THE AGE RANGES FOR YOUR EVENTS?
Generally ages range from late 30's to late 50's with some attendees on either side of that age range. As numbers of guests increase we try to arrange seating and table orientation according to age.
As interest grows, events may be tailored to specific age ranges in the future.
WHAT IS THE RATIO OF WOMEN TO MEN?
While we strive for equal numbers the emphasis is on making connections and friendships. We like to balance the numbers as much as possible.
HOW DO I SIGN UP AND ATTEND EVENTS?
Go to the events page on the main home page and simply choose the event you would like to attend. You can also go to the contact page to be added to the mailing list for future events. (All events are prepaid attendees only). Once you have chosen and event, register and pay following the instructions on the secure payment platform.
ARE THERE SINGLE GOURMET EVENTS IN OTHER CITIES?
At the moment Single Gourmet Ottawa is focusing on Ottawa area event locations.
